and auditions so that i may be discovered. my voice fits the style of r&b, soul and gospel.i sound like Ne-yo more than any other artist. where can i go and what can i do to be discovered? i am18 and look the part.

Whenever American Idol comes into Houston or San Antonio. They're not too far away. They should go into Austin though. Even though it's not as big a city it's much cooler. And they have an excellent music scene. I would guess there might be some music producers in Austin that might be willing to give you an audition. It is a good time to do it if you are 18 and sure of yourself. You might want to start by looking through the yellow pages and calling up music places and asking where you think you could audition.
