i'm currently a senior in a Texas high school, it's pretty competitive. my rank SUCKS. i've been an A/B student throughout high school (mostly due to the extremist of extreme laziness) with the exception being sophomore year because of some personal issues. i'm top 26% right now (137/523) and i'll try to send my transcript in again after this semester because my rank should be around 20% then but i'm not sure if UT will look at it because it will be a week or two after the deadline. but i have a good SAT score. i'm applying to their school of architecture even though it's really unlikely that i'll get in. stats - rank: 137/523 26% SAT: 2210 combined (M 720 CR 720 W 720) all AP/Honors classes through high school academic challenge 4 years (co-captain past 2 years) debate 9th/10th (won some awards) octathlon 9th (highest scoring member) newspaper 10th/11th (editor-in-chief 11th grade) a lot of work experience volunteer to teach religious education classes every saturday south asian female skilled artist in both traditional art and computer graphics pretty good writer decathlon team and AP studio art (12th) ap scores: US History 5 English Language 4 so my essays should be pretty good (one has to be about architecture) in all honesty, i just don't want to get capped. i will go to UTSA if i do, because i'm only applying to UT. i'm not sure if i'll even get into UT Austin School of Architecture let alone UT Austin. shed some light, please

I think you'll probably get in with those marks. But, you should apply to some other (smaller) Universities as well as backup plans.
